Joe Burrow will always be part of the Ohio State family. That’s been made pretty clear from both sides, as there’s still plenty of respect between the current LSU quarterback and his former Buckeye teammates, coaches and fans.

On Saturday night, Burrow is expected to take home the Heisman Trophy, becoming the first LSU player to claim the award in 60 years. This season, Burrow threw for 4,715 yards and 48 touchdowns while completing passes at 77 percent clip. He’s guided the Tigers to a 13-0 season and a College Football Playoff appearance.

Even though Burrow is no longer in Columbus, his former teammates still watch him play when they get the chance. Ohio State defensive end Chase Young said they still follow Burrow and aren’t surprised by his success at LSU, because of his incredible work ethic.

Below is a video of Young talking about Burrow, posted on Twitter by Brian Holland of NBC Local 33 News:

It’s pretty cool that there’s still so much respect between Ohio State and Burrow.

Burrow and Young are two Heisman finalists, with the other two being Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields and Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts. Burrow is the heavy favorite to win the award for his outstanding season.
