After submitting his name into the NCAA transfer portal at the end of the 2018 season, Penn State receiver Cam Sullivan-Brown is deciding to stay in State College.

247Sports reported Wednesday that Sullivan-Brown’s name is no longer in the transfer portal, meaning he’ll return to Penn State. That’s important news for the Nittany Lions, who have already lost several receivers this offseason due to transfer and eligibility.

Sullivan-Brown was a three-star recruit and a member of Penn State’s 2017 recruiting class.

In 2018, Sullivan-Brown played in all 13 games for Penn State, recording four catches for 49 yards. He’ll be in the mix for a larger role next season, as the Nittany Lions will be replacing Juwan Johnson, DeAndre Thompkins, and Brandon Polk.

Sullivan-Brown is one of two Nittany Lions to pull his name out of the transfer portal this offseason. Lamont Wade also made the decision to return to Happy Valley after exploring other options.
