Joey Bosa was carted off the field in the first quarter of Sunday’s game between the Los Angeles Chargers and Green Bay Packers.

The elite linebacker was obviously suffering some lower-body pain and was emotional as he was carted off. It’s unclear what the exact injury is, but it is clear that Bosa was in some serious pain.

Bosa has been a huge part of the Chargers’ defense this season, racking up 20 tackles and 6.5 sacks. He has also forced a fumble this season.

The Chargers currently lead the Packers 3-0 at the end of the first quarter, but the absence of Bosa could have an impact.

Bosa has been with the Chargers since 2016 after he was drafted 3rd overall in the 2016 NFL Draft. Bosa was a standout at Ohio State, racking up 148 tackles and 26 sacks in his 3 seasons with the Buckeyes.

The Chargers have had mixed results this season, sitting at 4-5 on the year. They lost last week’s game against the Detroit Lions.
