Raekwon McMillan has been given the green light to return to action.

The New England Patriots have activated McMillan off the PUP list. McMillan was sidelined for 2021 in August after tearing his ACL.

McMillan, who helped Ohio State win the College Football Playoff in 2014 and earned first-team All-Big Ten honors in 2016, has been in the NFL since 2017. He was selected by the Miami Dolphins with the No. 54 overall in Round 2 of the 2017 NFL Draft.

McMillan’s first ACL tear ended his 2017 rookie season. Ahead of the 2020 season, the Dolphins traded McMillan to the Los Vegas Raiders. He first signed with the Patriots in March 2021 and then re-signed an extension on Sept. 27, 2021.

In his professional career, McMillan has played in 45 games, making 32 starts. He has recorded 204 tackles and 3 pass breakups in 3 seasons of action.
