Purdue adds size to 2020 class with pledge from Ohio OL
Purdue’s 2020 recruiting class is getting some good size.
On Monday, three-star offensive tackle Jared Bycznski announced via Twitter his commitment to Purdue. The Berea, Ohio native becomes the third player to join the Boilermakers 2020 recruiting class and is the second offensive lineman of the group.
Bycznski, a 6-foot-4, 295-pound lineman, made his announcement in a tweet.
“I want to thank my family, coaches, teammates and friends who helped me throughout this process,” Bycznski wrote. “I am extremely excited to announce that I’m a Boilermaker and have committed to Purdue University!”

Bycznski joins center Gus Hartwig and linebacker Ben Kreul in Purdue’s 2020 class. The offensive tackle is ranked as one of the top 30 players out of Ohio and is one of the top 75 players at his position, per 247Sports’ composite rankings.
In addition to Purdue, Bycznski had over a dozen offers. He chose the Boilermakers over Ball State, Cincinnati, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland and Missouri.
Purdue’s 2020 class currently ranks 40th nationally and sits at No. 8 in the B1G.
