Former Rutgers player Eric LeGrand made an appearance on FOX Sports on Friday to talk about his involvement with charities, as well as a little Scarlet Knights football.

LeGrand, who suffered a spinal cord injury during a 2010 game against Army, was on the show First Things First to talk about his new series Mission Possible with Eric LeGrand, which demonstrates that “any mission in life is possible” according to the show’s website.

In addition to talking about the series, LeGrand also talked about Rutgers football and the job Chris Ash has done in Piscataway during his first two seasons.

Finally, LeGrand talked about his personal charity Team LeGrand which is dedicated to raising money and awareness of spinal cord injuries. His statement to close out the show was “I truly believe in my lifetime…we’ll be able to find a cure and I’ll be able to go back to MetLife and lay back down on that 25-yard line and finish that last play.”

It’s truly a must-watch interview for any Rutgers, or college football fan.
