The Indianapolis Colts got their second win of the 2021 NFL season as they dominated the Houston Texans 31-3.

There were several big performances on both sides of the ball for the Colts. Offensively, they were able to create a spark from second-year running back and former Wisconsin star Jonathan Taylor.

Against Houston, Taylor rushed for 145 yards and 2 touchdowns on 14 carries. He averaged 10.4 yards per carry while also catching 1 reception for 13 yards.

This was his fifth 100-yard rushing performance in his two years in the NFL. This was also the fourth time in Taylor’s professional career that he accounted for at least 2 rushing touchdowns in a game.

He had a huge play with just under nine minutes left in the third quarter where he broke off to the left side of the field for an 83-yard run. Taylor would then score a four-yard touchdown run three plays later.
