Former Wisconsin QB Alex Hornibrook has a new college football home.

According to a report by 247Sports, Hornibrook committed to Florida State after an official visit this weekend.

There’s a strong chance that the former Badgers signal caller will become the Seminoles starter. FSU has just two QBs on the roster, and none with any substantial experience. Head coach Willie Taggart hasn’t signed a QB in two recruiting cycles either.

Hornibrook entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal last month, and he’s set to graduate from school in May. Since he’s a graduate transfer, he’ll be immediately eligible in 2019.

Hornibrook played in 35 career games with the Badgers, and he threw for 5,438 yards, 47 touchdowns and 33 interceptions.

Wisconsin finished 26-6 in games that Hornibrook started.
