The underclassmen deadline is gone, which means the mock drafts can really start flowing.
Mel Kiper Jr. put together his first official 2017 NFL Mock Draft 1.0, which featured a total of six B1G players from four different schools.
As expected, three B1G defensive backs led the way, though with the exception of Marshon Lattimore, the B1G’s projections were all for the middle of the first round or later.
The lone B1G offensive player to make the cut was Wisconsin offensive tackle Ryan Ramczyk, who could be a draft mystery depending on the health of his labrum.
Here’s where Kiper had each B1G player:
PICK, TEAM | B1G PLAYER, POSITION | SCHOOL |
---|---|---|
6. New York Jets | Marshon Lattimore, CB | Ohio State |
16. Baltimore Ravens | Jabrill Peppers, S | Michigan |
17. Washington Redskins | Malik Hooker, S | Ohio State |
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Taco Charlton, DE | Michigan |
23. New York Giants | Ryan Ramczyk, OT | Wisconsin |
24. Oakland Raiders | Malik McDowell, DT | Michigan State |
Kiper’s next mock draft will likely come out immediately following the senior all-star games, which are slated for the next two weekends.
