NW-MSU traded several punches in the third quarter

If you love big plays, you’ve gotten to see plenty from Northwestern and Michigan State.

What’s happening at Spartan Stadium is a little hard to explain. So we’ll just let some videos do the talking:

Justin Layne had an interception returned for a touchdown.

Clayton Thorson has had a 57-yard TD pass.

Tyler O’Connor has passing TDs from 59 yards out to R.J. Shelton:

And then O’Connor found Shelton again, this time for 86 yards.

Finally, Solomon Vault ran a kickoff 95 yards for another score.

All of this happened in the first three quarters, most of it happening in the third quarter. Yes, things are getting a little wild in East Lansing.
