Matt VandeBerg might’ve had the best weekend of any player in America

Matt VandeBerg was already sitting pretty on Saturday night.

The Iowa receiver hauled in a game-high 129 yards and a touchdown in a beatdown of intrastate rival Iowa State. That alone would’ve made him a popular man in Iowa City on Saturday night.

But what he did after that was truly unforgettable. VandeBerg walked over to his girlfriend in the stands and asked the all-important question.

Her reaction was priceless (via Laura Bulanda):

So to recap, VandeBerg is now the No. 1 receiver on one of the top teams in the country and he has a fianceé.
