According to 247Sports, Maryland just stole a coach from SEC country and named him as their new co-defensive coordinator.

Brumbaugh will be keeping his duties as the Terrapins’ defensive line coach as well. The former three-time All-SEC defensive lineman at Auburn (1995-2000) is just 40-years-old and according to 247Sports, recruited at least four different four-star defensive linemen to Kentucky since his time began there in 2013.

Considering how many talented fronts are in the SEC year in and year out, Maryland has to be assuming that they’re grabbing a man who knows his way around the recruiting trails. Before Brumbaugh’s time at Kentucky, he spent two seasons as the defensive line coach at Syracuse.

It also seems as though one current Kentucky lineman isn’t too happy about the news:
