Former Michigan WR Drake Harris announces transfer destination

The Michigan Wolverines learned back in November that WR Drake Harris would be transferring, but he didn’t immediately announce where he’d play.

Now, we know where he’ll be in 2018, as he has made the decision to enroll at Western Michigan.

Harris, who will be eligible to play immediately this fall as a graduate transfer, announced his decision on Instagram on Sunday morning:

I’m happy to announce that I will be playing my last year of eligibility at Western Michigan University, while pursuing a masters degree. Excited to get working with Coach Lester and the rest of the coaching staff for a great year next season. Go Broncos 🐴

In his time at Michigan, Harris caught nine passes for 60 yards, but never recorded a touchdown.

Interestingly, Western Michigan will visit Michigan in Week 2 of the 2018 season, so Harris will have a chance to square off against his former teammates.
