Clayton Thorson started in every single game at Northwestern and will be remembered as one of the greatest quarterbacks in program history. Now, the four-year starter will attempt to parlay that into an NFL career.

Thorson is one of a handful of B1G quarterbacks on hand in Indianapolis this week, hoping to improve his draft stock at the NFL Combine. His name hasn’t been mentioned nearly as much as Dwayne Haskins or Trace McSorley, but he’s still hoping to do some impressive things.

While in Indianapolis, Thorson met up with Big Ten Network’s Michell McMahon to talk about his experience, returning from injury and what he hopes to accomplish at the combine:

Thorson threw for 3,183 yards and 17 touchdowns for Northwestern last season, leading the Wildcats to a B1G West title and an appearance in the conference title game.

Northwestern finished the year 9-5.
