Tattoos are permanent, right?

Well, not exactly. For one thing, of course, they can be removed. But, if you’re a high school kid in the state of Ohio who commits to play for Ohio State, you have to love the Buckeyes.

For quarterback Danny Clark, a three-star quarterback prospect out of Akron, Ohio, he had no problem showing off that tattoo a month ago. According to kentuckysportsradio.com, he didn’t think the tattoo was a big deal – despite de-committing from the Buckeyes and signing with Kentucky this past October.

“It’s not a big deal,” Clark said, according to the site. “There’s like three other guys with schools on them, so it’s not really a big deal. If it becomes such a big deal for people, it can be covered up in an hour.”

Here are a couple photos from his Instagram account:

Clark is in the middle. Eight days after his interview – believing that the tattoo wasn’t a big deal – he posted this:

It may not be a big deal now, but if you’re attending one school while clearly representing another, you’re going to get asked about it.

The future Wildcat apparently decided that talk about his throwing arm should stick to his abilities on the football field and not about the Buckeyes.
