You could say there’s just a little bit of interest in Ohio State’s pro day.

With the Buckeyes going after a record six first-rounders set by Miami (FL) in 2004, there are plenty of media members, scouts, NFL coaches and general managers in Columbus for the showcase.

In fact, Ohio State media relations director Jerry Emig dished out an estimated 130 credentials for the event:

It isn’t just reporters and scouts with stopwatches that came to Columbus to see the Buckeye prospects. NFL Network and SportsCenter are both doing live broadcasts of the day’s festivities:

As you can see, the crowd for the credential-only event isn’t lacking:

There are a reported six NFL head coaches on hand, including Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin:

There were plenty of eyes on Braxton Miller during the 40-yard dash. After recording a 4.5 at the combine, he had hopes of getting in the low 4.4s.

According to NFLDraftScout.com’s Matt Miller, the Buckeye wideout did even better than that.

See for yourself:

The Buckeyes media relations staff will likely post official results from the day later this afternoon. If Miller’s 40-time holds up, expect that first-round chatter to fire back up.
