A lot of people are going to be hyping Saquon Barkley as a B1G Offensive Player of the Year candidate in 2016.
When you earn Freshman All-America honors, that tends to happen.
Many are wondering what kind of strides the Penn State tailback will make as the focal point of a new-look offense. It’s safe to say that Barkley isn’t taking that task lightly.
Check out the whopping 390-pound power clean he pulled off on Tuesday:

How impressive of a feat is that? Well, considering that Anthony Zettel, a freakish defensive lineman, set the Penn State record with the same 390 pounds, that’s quite the accomplishment from a running back.
This surely won’t quiet the Barkley campaign in 2016.
