Trace McSorley should never be counted out. Whether the Penn State quarterback is trailing or running for his life, he developed a habit of coming up big.
So fittingly, when the Lions were in need of a big play in the Rose Bowl, McSorley came up clutch.
Somehow, he completed this 30-yard touchdown pass to Chris Godwin:
That brought the Lions within one score after a disastrous start.
Penn State is going to need some defensive stops and maybe a few more passes like that to cap off their improbable season with a Rose Bowl win.
