Chris Streveler may have gone undrafted in 2018, but he is still making plays. He threw the game-winning touchdown in Sunday’s preseason game against New York Giants.

The New York Jets beat the Giants 31-27 thanks to Streveler’s efforts. Streveler had 96 yards passing with 2 touchdowns in the game. He floated a great ball to wideout Calvin Jackson Jr. to ultimately win the game.

Streveler started his college career at Minnesota (2013-2015), before transferring to South Dakota (2016-2017), where he would end his college career. He originally started his professional career in the CFL with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers after going undrafted. Streveler moved to the NFL in 2020, having stints with Arizona Cardinals (2020), Baltimore Ravens (2021), and Miami Dolphins (2022) before joining the Jets in July.

Streveler will most likely be competing for 1 of the backup spots in the Jets’ QB room. Zach Wilson is expected to be the starter for them whenever he gets back from his knee injury that he suffered against the Philadelphia Eagles on Aug. 12.
