There was a scary moment early in Saturday’s game in Columbus.
In what appeared to be a routine collision with a teammate, Rutgers linebacker Greg Jones wasn’t able to stay on his feet and he immediately dropped to the ground.
Here’s video of the incidental hit:
After several minutes of being examined by the medical staff, Rutgers took Jones away on a stretcher and to an ambulance. According to a Rutgers spokesperson, Jones was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
But there was some good news.
UPDATE: #Rutgers LB Greg Jones was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure. He was communicating and has movement, per official.

Rutgers will likely have an official diagnosis of Jones by day’s end.
