Minnesota has all sorts of momentum with a new, energetic coach in P.J. Fleck.
Fleck has his own style, one that’s complete with a quarter-zip, dress shirt and tie. So naturally, Minnesota is marketing the #FleckFriday look ahead of his first season in the Twin Cities.
Leave it to Wisconsin to dump a cold bucket of water on its rival. Well, in this case, the Badgers brought the fire.
Wisconsin provided a little reminder of who won the rivalry trophy — Paul Bunyan’s Axe — the last 13 years:

Fortunately for Minnesota, those two defensive stars in the picture, Vince Biegel and Leo Musso, are gone.
And while the Badgers are currently in the midst of the longest streak in the history of the rivalry, the all-time series is tied 59-59-8.
Perhaps Fleck is the guy who can finally put Minnesota back on the winning side of Paul Bunyan’s Axe.
