The question surrounding Jourdan Lewis was well-documented.

How far would he fall with his pending domestic violent case?

Well, the former Michigan star wasn’t picked as early as he probably hoped, but he ended up in quite the spot. Lewis was drafted No. 92 overall by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2017 NFL draft.

He’ll join Michigan teammate Taco Charlton, who was picked in the first round by the Cowboys on Thursday.

Lewis had one of the great careers ever for a Michigan defensive back. The two-time All-American cornerback was Michigan’s all-time leader in pass-breakups.

Lewis could’ve easily been in this spot last year. Instead, he returned to Ann Arbor for his senior season and was the B1G Defensive Back of the Year. The Detroit native helped Michigan finish second in FBS in scoring defense in 2016.

Lewis finished his career having played in 48 games, 30 of which were starts. He racked up 133 tackles, 8.5 tackles, six interceptions and one sack.

With Lewis’ selection, Michigan got closer to besting Ohio State’s 2004 record of 14 draftees.
