Life is pretty rough for Notre Dame fans these days.

The Irish are 1-3 with back-to-back home losses to Michigan State and Duke. It seems like a long time ago that Notre Dame was a potential College Football Playoff contender.

That was back when Mike Golic was willing to bet on Notre Dame to beat Michigan State.

The ESPN radio host made the awful mistake of betting on his alma mater to take care of the Spartans a couple weeks ago. That, of course, didn’t happen.

Proud MSU graduate and host of ESPN’s “His and Hers” Jemele HillĀ and Golic had a wager on the game. The loser had to eat burgers made with ghost peppers, which is the world’s hottest pepper. It’s 400 times hotter than Tobasco sauce.

Golic paid up for losing the bet. He then dipped it in hot sauce:

Golic already got roasted on air by Magic Johnson for talking trash. It just goes to show, betting against Mark Dantonio is not always the best idea.
