Jackson is a top 100 overall prospect for the 2022 class and is listed as the No. 7 edge of the cycle ad the No. 11 player from his state (Florida).

Before cutting his list down to 3 finalists, Jackson had offers from more than 30 schools, including Indiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Penn State from the B1G.

When Jackson was asked why he chose OSU over the 2 other schools, he was quick to mention Buckeyes defensive line coach Larry Johnson.

“Chase Young, the Bosa Brothers, I believe he’ll develop me as a great pass rusher. Not only a great pass rusher, but a great man.”

With this pledge, the Buckeyes now have the No. 5 overall recruiting class in the nation.
