Former Michigan State defensive end DeAri Todd has found a new home. He announced his transfer destination with a post on Twitter this week.

Todd, who was one of nine players from MSU to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal once the spring practice schedule concluded, will be headed to Montana. The Grizzlies compete at the FCS level.

“Montana…let’s work!” Todd wrote on Twitter. “I’m coming with something to prove.”

Todd spent four seasons at Michigan State but will still have two years of eligibility remaining at Montana. He redshirted his first season in 2017 and retained his season of eligibility in 2020 because of the NCAA’s blanket waiver for all fall student-athletes.

During those four seasons, Todd did not see any game action. He was a three-time Academic All-B1G selection.
