Former Michigan linebacker Jordan Anthony has announced his transfer destination more than a year after entering his name into the NCAA transfer portal.
On Monday, Anthony announced that he will be transferring to Troy to continue his college football career. He will have two years of eligibility remaining with the Trojans.
Anthony initially entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal in December 2019 but never settled on a new destination. That might’ve been due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the inability to take visits to school beginning last March.
Per MLive.com, Anthony had received enough credits from Michigan to graduate in July. He’ll also be immediately eligible to play at Troy for the 2021 season. The Trojans compete in the Sun Belt.
Anthony was a 4-star member of Michigan’s 2017 recruiting class, ranking just outside the Top 100 overall prospects in the cycle.
During his time in Ann Arbor, Anthony played in seven career games, making 15 tackles and recording 1 sack. He was most productive during the 2019 season, credited with 11 stops in five games that fall.
