Ohio State will be getting a visit from one of the top overall prospects in the 2023 recruiting class later this month.
Hayes Fawcett reported on Tuesday that 5-star cornerback Tony Mitchell has Ohio State included as one of his summer stops. He’ll be making the journey to Columbus on June 25-26, one of six schools he’ll be visiting over the next two months.
Mitchell is also scheduled to visit Florida (June 1-2), Georgia (June 3), Clemson (June 4), USC (June 11-13) and Oregon (July 31).

According to 247Sports, Mitchell ranks as the No. 10 overall prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. The native of Alabaster, Alabama is the top cornerback of the cycle and is also the No. 3 player from his home state.
So far, 34 programs have extended an offer to Mitchell. B1G programs to show interest in the talented cornerback include Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State.
