Michigan has put another student-athlete in the NFL. But it’s not a football player who has agreed to terms with a franchise.
Friday, the Tennessee Titans announced that they have agreed to terms with Adam Coon, an All-American wrestler out of Michigan. He will compete for a position along the offensive line, according to a release from the team.
Coon was a three-time All-American wrestler at Michigan, compiling a 116-15 career record while in Ann Arbor. He also earned a spot on the men’s Olympic wrestling team but failed to qualify for the Olympic Games.
