Nebraska picked up a nice commit for the gridiron Monday evening, picking up a tight end recruit out of Minnesota.
The player is Chase Androff, a three-star prospect out of Lakeville, Minnesota. He shared a note on Twitter, thanking those who have invested in his journey while also thanking the other schools that have recruited him.
In the end, Androff went with the Huskers. “I’m super grateful to be in the position that I am today,” wrote Androff. “I’m super excited to announce that I will be committing to the University of Nebraska!”
100% committed to the University of Nebraska!!! #GBR 🌽🔴⚪️☠️🎈

Androff is rated as the No. 6 prospect out of the state of Minnesota for 2022. Listed at 6-foot-6 and 230 lbs., Androff has good size for the position at the next level. It will be interesting to watch his development moving forward.
Androff’s commitment gives Nebraska three total for the 2022 recruiting class, including three-star linebacker Ernest Hausmann and three-star receiver Victor Jones Jr.
