Mike Conley will miss Game 3 in pivotal playoff series vs. Clippers

Former Ohio State guard Mike Conley is still battling a hamstring injury as his Utah Jazz fight through the Western Conference playoffs.
The Jazz are up 2-0 in the series vs. the Los Angeles Clippers, but Game 3 shifts to Staples Center on Saturday night. The Jazz won’t have Conley for a third-straight game due to that Hamstring injury.
Utah announced that news on Saturday afternoon:
Utah Jazz say Mike Conley (mild right hamstring strain) is out for Game 3 tonight against the LA Clippers.

Conley is in his second season with the Jazz after a long stint with the Memphis Grizzlies. He’s at the end of arguably the best season of his career, as the Jazz are the No. 1 seed in the West and Conley was named an All-Star for the first time in his career this season.
Conley played in 51 games this season, averaging 16.2 points and 6.0 assists per contest. He’s proven to be an excellent point guard next to Jazz stars Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert.
Utah is looking to make the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2007.
Conley played one season at Ohio State before becoming the No. 4 overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft.
