Tom Allen is receiving more national honors.

On Monday, the FWAA announced that Allen has been named the 2020 Super 11 Coach of the Year by the FWAA in “recognition of media access granted by IU football program during the year.”

The latest honor is in addition to Allen receiving the AFCA Coach of the Year Award and being named the B1G Coach of the Year. Last season, Indiana finished with a 6-2 record, defeating Penn State, Michigan and Wisconsin and earning a bid to the Outback Bowl.

It marked the second-straight season in which the Hoosiers finished the year above .500 and played in a bowl games. In 2019, IU went 8-5 and played Tennessee in the Gator Bowl.

Allen will be entering his fifth season as the head coach at Indiana. In four years, the Hoosiers are 24-22 with a 15-19 mark in B1G play. IU will be one of the favorites to challenge Ohio State in the B1G East in 2021.
