Cardale Jones hasn’t played in an NFL game yet, but he already has his first commercial deal.

The former Ohio State quarterback and current NFL rookie, who wasn’t shy about his displeasure with the NCAA’s rules for governing student-athletes, was in a college football commercial.

How’s that for irony?

The Dr. Pepper ad, starring unofficial College Football Playoff founder Larry Culpepper, was released on Monday:

The Bills rookie appeared alongside Hall of Fame running back Marcus Allen and future Hall of Fame nose tackle Vince Wilfork.

Perhaps in Jones’ next commercial, he’ll have a speaking role. Maybe then he can really start making money off his likeness.
