Lorenzetti is from Canada, and has gone under-the-radar as a prospect. Despite having quality offers, he’s rated as the No. 94 offensive tackle according to 247Sports. He does not have a composite ranking.
He attends Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, CT, and is listed at 6-foot-6, 285 pounds. Lorenzetti also has offers from Georgia, Baylor, Duke, Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech.
He has visited all three Big Ten programs in June, but the Wolverines received two trips.
“I like the people there a lot,” Lorenzetti told 247Sports. “I like coach (Sherrone) Moore, the offensive line coach. He is a really nice guy, very genuine. I like coach (Jim) Harbaugh and I like the vibe I got from the school. Everything was very good. I feel like I could do well. The academics, too, that is a big part of this decision.”
He told 247Sports that a commitment could come before this upcoming weekend.
