Ohio State shot-putter Adelaide Aquilla is officially going to the Olympics.

Aquilla qualified for Team USA on Thursday night by finishing in third place at olympic trials. Her clinching throw came on her first of five attempts, and traveled 18.95 meters.

Here’s the moment it became official:

Aquilla joins Ohio State Christina Clemons on Team USA. It’s the first time the Buckeyes have had two representatives in track and field in the Olympic Games. Clemson will compete in the 100 meter hurdles event.

Aquilla is a two-time National Champion and Big Ten Champion. She was also named Ohio State Female Athlete of the Year for 2020.

The Opening Ceremony for the Tokyo Olympics is on July 23. The event will run through August 8.
