5-star defensive lineman J.T. Tuimoloau will no longer visit Alabama this weekend.

He told 247Sports about that decision on Friday morning. The Crimson Tide were set to get the final visit one of the nation’s best players in the class of 2021.

Ohio State has been heavily involved in Tuimoloau’s process. He visited Columbus earlier this month and the Buckeyes are one of four teams he’s still considering.

Tuimoloau has also visited Oregon, USC and Washington this month.

“It’s just a feeling I’ve had for a while now and after getting back from my official visit to Oregon, we decided not to take the trip to Alabama,” Tuimoloau told 247Sports.

Tuimoloau is the lone high-profile recruit in this class who hasn’t signed with a program yet. He wanted to take official visits before deciding, which he was unable to do until this month because of the pandemic.

According to 247Sports Composite rankings, Tuimoloau is the No. 3 overall player in the class of 2021. 247Sports has him ranked as the No. 1 player in the country.

There is no specific timetable for his announcement.
