According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Neal is a top-450 prospect nationally and the No. 13 player out of North Carolina for the cycle. In addition to the Badgers, Neal drew a host of Power 5 offers from throughout the country. That list included Alabama, Auburn, LSU, and Georgia out of the SEC and Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan State, and Rutgers out of the B1G.

With his commitment, Neal becomes the highest-rated commit for Wisconsin’s 2022 class. Three-star QB Myles Burkett is second on the list. The Badgers now have seven commits for the cycle.

It has been a productive week for Wisconsin as the Badgers continue to grab commitments now that the recruiting dead period is a thing of the past.
