Ohio State will officially be back at full capacity for the fall.

Though that move was expected and anticipated, Buckeyes AD Gene Smith made the news official Tuesday evening. During an interview with Dom Tiberi of WBNS-TV, Smith announced that Ohio State would have full capacity and full tailgating to open the fall.

“We’re going all the way live,” said Smith. “We’re tailgating, we don’t see any change to what we’ve had prior to covid. Now, we’re hopeful that we don’t end up in a situation where we have a huge spike…but right now we’re all the way live, full stadium, full tailgating, the whole nine yards.”

At this point, most B1G teams should be on track to have full capacity in 2021, barring something unforeseen happening over the summer. Hopefully, we are able to have a full season with full fans after the shortened 2020 campaign.
