Nebraska has reportedly added former Northern Arizona receiver Chancellor Brewington.

That’s according to a report from the Omaha World-Herald, citing sources within the Huskers’ program.

Brewington will have two years of eligibility remaining. He missed the last two seasons due to injury, but was excellent in 2017 and 2018.

During his first two seasons with Northern Arizona, he compiled 54 catches for 642 yards and three touchdowns.

The Huskers are still searching for a dominant receiver. Last year, Wan’Dale Robinson was the team’s leading pass-catcher with 51 catches for 461 yards.

Aside from Robinson, only Austin Allen was able to clear 200 receiving yards. Only Robinson, Allen, Zavier Betts and Levi Falck scored receiving touchdowns, and only managed one each.

In 2021, Nebraska is hoping to have more skill talent available for quarterback Adrian Martinez. Last season, he completed 71.5 percent of his passes for 1,055 yards. However, he averaged just 7.0 yards per attempt.

Nebraska opens its 2021 season at Illinois on Aug. 28.
