Ohio State’s 2021 recruiting class is officially in the books with the addition of 5-star J.T. Tuimoloau to the roster on Thursday.
With Tuimoloau now being enrolled at Ohio State, he’s now officially in the active roster. The Buckeyes have him listed at 6-foot-4, 277 pounds.
Tuimoloau joined Ohio State’s 2021 recruiting class much later than usual. He insisted on taking his official visits this summer, which he wasn’t able to do until June 1 due to the pandemic.
Tuimoloau visited Ohio State, Washington, USC and Oregon before deciding on the Buckeyes. He officially chose Ohio State back on July 4.
He was the No. 3 overall player in the country for the class of 2021, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
This completes Ohio State’s 2021 recruiting class, which was ranked No. 2 in the nation and No. 1 in the Big Ten by the same measure.
The Buckeyes are also off to a fast start in 2022 and currently have the No. 1 overall class in the country per 247Sports Composite rankings.
Ohio State’s 2021 campaign begins on Sept. 2 at Minnesota.
