Commissioner Kevin Warren has no regrets with how the 2020 season was handled

B1G commissioner Kevin Warren has received a fair share of criticism for his decision-making since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
When asked on Thursday if there’s anything he would have done differently, Warren was steadfast that he believes he handled the unprecedented situation to the best of his ability.
Kevin Warren says he doesn’t have any regrets about how he handled the 2020-21 year.
Says if he had to do it over again he would make the same decisions.

Warren initially gave the green light for the conference football schedule to continue as normal despite the pandemic, but then switched course and postponed the season. Finally, after backlash, he decided to let the conference play in a shortened season. During the truncated season, a number of games were cancelled due to COVID-19 outbreaks.
Despite playing a shorter schedule, Ohio State was selected as the No. 3 seed in the College Football Playoff, which was met with criticism by fans from other Power 5 conferences.
The B1G schedule this season will return to its original format and will kick off on Aug 28 with a matchup between Nebraska and Illinois.
