Just one year after balling out at Minnesota, Tyler Johnson has already captured a Super Bowl with a the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But the Minneapolis native isn’t quite done yet adding to his resumé.
As Johnson prepares for his second NFL season and the Bucs try to go back-to-back with former Michigan Wolverine Tom Brady under center, they are honing their craft at training camp. For Johnson, that means a slick one-handed grab during practice.

Johnson starts by beating the defensive back on him and then casually just brings it in a with a single-hand.
Playing with a receiving core that was loaded with talent, Johnson wasn’t always the star of the show but did make an impact in his first season in the pros. Johnson played in 14 games, catching 12 passes for 169 yards and two touchdowns.
Though those numbers might not blow you away, he did make some opportune catches at the right time, like this one in the NFC Championship against the Packers.

Besides making a key catch, Johnson also sank the Packers’ chances by drawing a late pass interference call in the game.

Johnson came into the NFL as a guy who appeared to have a chance to make an impact right away. He showed that in year one. If he keeps making catches like the ones he’s making during training camp, we will have a lot more chances to talk about the former Gopher.
