Ihmir Smith-Marsette appears to be fitting in quite well with the Minnesota Vikings. During training camp on Monday, the former Iowa receiver had a moment that wowed the crowd.
Smith-Marsette beat a defender deep and was able to haul in a nice catch while racing to the end zone for a touchdown. In the clip, you can hear the crowd’s enthusiasm regarding the new wide receiver.

The former Hawkeye appears to be adjusting well during the early portion of training camp.
Smith-Marsette was a fifth-round selection in the 2021 NFL Draft. In his career at Iowa, the receiver totaled 1,615 yards and 14 touchdowns on 110 catches. He also piled up 1,520 yards as a kickoff return man and scored two additional touchdowns.
In the rushing attack, Smith-Marsette had 34 attempts for 274 yards and 4 touchdowns. In 2018, he was named the B1G Return Man of the Year.
