August has arrived. Later this month, we’ll be treated to the first Saturday of college football’s glorious return, with games scheduled for Aug. 28 to begin the season.
But before we reach that point, there’s a lot of predictions and preseason rankings to sift through. CBS Sports is one of the first major networks to release its rankings for the upcoming season.
CBS Sports didn’t just produce a Top 25, it ranked all 130 teams at the FBS level.
Sticking to the Top 25, the B1G had five teams crack the list in CBS’ rankings. Ohio State led the way at No. 4 and was the conference’s only Top 10 squad. Wisconsin, Penn State, Iowa and Indiana were the other four teams to be listed in the Top 25.
