You may not be able to enter a West Lafayette convenient store barefoot but Kit Cadwallader was welcomed inside Ross-Ade Stadium without socks and shoes. And he was actually rewarded for it.

Cadwallader, a Purdue fan, was given the opportunity to win season tickets for the upcoming season if he converted a field goal attempt. Without any socks or shoes on, the Boilermaker believer knocked his try directly through the uprights.

Players lifted Cadwallader on their shoulders after making the kick. Rumor has it, Cadwallader will be known in West Lafayette as the man with the “Golden Toe.”

OK, not really. But here’s video of the awesome kick, captured by JD Arland of WLFI:

Head coach Jeff Brohm may want to inquire about Cadwallader’s potential eligibility with the NCAA. If the Boilermakers struggle on special teams, they might need someone to step in.

Just imagine what he could do with shoes!

Cadwallader will be one of thousands of fans in attendance for Purdue’s season opener on Saturday, Sept. 4 when the Boilers host Oregon State to open the 2021 campaign. It’s the only home game on Purdue’s nonconference schedule.
