Featuring Travis Tritt’s “It’s a Great Day to Be Alive,” teammates’ Instagram handles, and all the physicality you would expect with life on the offensive line, Iowa Hawkeyes redshirt junior center Tyler Linderbaum wore a microphone to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at fall camp, shared by the program’s Twitter account on Monday.

A Solon, Iowa native, Linderbaum was recruited as a defensive tackle and was a three-star prospect and second-best player in the state in the 2018 class, according to the 247Sports Composite.
After seeing action in two games as a freshman, preserving his redshirt, he made the switch to the offensive line ahead of the 2019 season, and it is safe to say that decision looks like a wise one.
Starting all 21 games in the middle of the unit over the last two years, Linderbaum earned first-team All-B1G status from the media in 2020 and a second-team nod from the coaches.
Considered by many the top center in the 2022 National Football League Draft class, Linderbaum was a 2021 first-team All-America selection by Phil Steele.
Posting a 6-2 record in 2020, good for a No. 16 ranking in the final Associated Press Poll, Iowa will begin their upcoming campaign on September 4, when Indiana visits Kinnick Stadium at 3:30 p.m. ET on the B1G Network.
