After not playing for Penn State in 2020 and being part of his first NFL training camp, it’s hard to blame Micah Parsons for being antsy about getting on the field and playing.

This was proven evident in the season premiere of Hard Knocks, which is following around the Dallas Cowboys.

Parsons, the No. 12 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, was seen in the episode complaining he couldn’t participate more in the team’s scrimmage. This led to this funny moment on the sidelines.

The biggest takeaway from this video should be that Parsons is the human version of an Apple Watch or Fitbit telling you to stand up and move around.

Well, not actually. It probably just shows how excited Parsons is to get out on the field. And how could you blame him after all the time he has spent sitting and waiting for this opportunity?

The last time Parsons was fully immersed in a football season, he was a force to be reckoned with as he starred for the Nittany Lions. The 2019 Butkus-Fitzgerald Linebacker of the Year Award Winner finished the season with 109 tackles, 5 deflected passes and 4 forced fumbles.

So far, it looks like Parsons will be a key part of the Dallas defense while also providing a few good quotes along the way. He recently said he wanted to be a like a queen on a chess board when playing defense, meaning he could do it all. If he lives up to that billing, it’s safe to say the Cowboys will be thrilled.
