BTN crew evaluates Wisconsin following visit to fall camp

Wisconsin is currently in the midst of fall camp as they get set to kick off the season on Sept. 4.
The Big Ten Network crew of Joshua Perry, Dave Revsine, and Howard Griffith made its way to check out the Badgers and offer some impressions.

Perry was effusive in his praise for Wisconsin and believes the Badgers are legitimate B1G contenders.
“I think, top to bottom, this is the best team we’ve seen so far. That’s not just the roster,” Perry said. “The efficiency of the practice and just the way the drills were run, the tempo and everything really looked like a great team. I’m really excited to see what they can do.”
Revsine meanwhile did offer one specific area of concern.
“Running back is the one area, to me, you wonder about a little bit,” Revsine said.
Redshirt freshman Jalen Berger is currently listed as the starting running back on the depth chart. Berger totaled 301 yards and two touchdowns last season.
Griffith also shared Revsine’s sentiment.
“Spoiled is absolutely right. I think they have been (at the running back position),” Griffith said. “I think they’re good, they just don’t necessarily have that bell cow we’re accustomed to seeing.”
Wisconsin begins the season with a home matchup vs. Penn State.
