The status of a couple of key players for Ohio State was clouded Thursday with reports indicating some players were unavailable or limited in practice.

During Thursday’s session, it was reported that star receiver Garrett Wilson and starting offensive lineman Thayer Munford were missing during the session of practice open to the media. Defensive end Tyreke Smith and defensive tackle Jarron Cage were also reported to miss practice on Thursday.

Thankfully, offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson provided a positive update and clarity to the status of Wilson and Munford on Friday. According to the OC, Garrett Wilson was limited Thursday to simply manage his workload. Munford has also been limited for a couple of days but is fine, according to Wilson.

Dan Hope with 11 Warriors also noted that Cage and Smith were spotted in uniform leaving practice Friday:
