Heading into the 2021 NFL Draft, there were some critics about former Purdue wide receiver Rondale Moore. Many looked at his size as a possible disadvantage to playing at the next level.
The former All-American is proving that doesn’t have to be the case.
It’s only been one week, but Moore is currently the highest-graded wide receiver by Pro Football Focus (PFF) through Week 1 of the NFL preseason. There is still one game remaining, as the Colts and Panthers play Sunday afternoon.

Per PFF, Moore finished with an 84.0 grade, the highest among wide receivers that played a minimum of 10 snaps in the first weekend of the preseason. The former Boilermaker totaled 3 catches for 23 yards and took 2 carries for 16 yards in his debut with the Arizona Cardinals on Friday.
The Cardinals defeated the Cowboys 19-16 to stat the preseason with a 1-0 record.
Moore was a second-round selection in the 2021 NFL Draft by Arizona. He was taken No. 49 overall. Injuries derailed his career at Purdue following his freshman season, but he looks healthy at the next level.
