Parris Campbell looks pretty good in the first preseason game for Indianapolis. That’s a good sign for the Colts.
Campbell suffered a season-ending knee injury during the Colts’ 2020 season. In fact, through his first two years in the professional ranks, the former Ohio State star has been limited to just 9 games because of injury.
He looked pretty good early in the Colts first preseason game of 2021, though.
On an early drive in the 1st quarter, Colts quarterback Jacob Eason connected with Campbell on a 37-yard pass. It was a big play that helped set Indianapolis up for a field goal, tying the game at 3-3 with the Carolina Panthers.

Campbell has flashed the ability to be a reliable target in the Colts offense, but his time on the field has been so abbreviated that he hasn’t been able to gain much momentum. In those 9 contests, the former Buckeye has hauled in 24 passes for 198 yards and a touchdown.
If he can stay healthy, Campbell can be a big weapon in Indianapolis this season.
